Coaching Techniques Advanced
Programme summary
The training is made of a 2,5 days training plus one supervision session of 3 hours after 3 months – both face to face or remote. It requires a pre-work of about 1 hour. The training alternates lectures and demonstrations with exercises in break-out groups, followed by plenary sessions for questions and comments. The supervision adds value by using praxis cases of the participants to evaluate the impact of the interventions, to discuss alternative interventions and to extract the understanding for similar cases.
In case the participants come from different coach trainings, the pre-work will be an individual session (remote) with each participant to evaluate their skill level.
Participants
The participants in this programme are managers, leaders or key persons who have already been trained on the basics of coaching, like the GROW model, questioning, hypothesis, visualizations and coach attitude.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:
- Coach challenging situations like decisions, resistance, boundary crossings, personal issues, interpersonal issues and to move on when getting stuck.
- They will also be able to challenge the coachee and to see their own traps and how to avoid them.
