Stress – how to use it?

 Programme summary 

This seminar will enable you to better understand what stress really is, determine at which level of stress you are effective, when tension is becoming harmful, and to know how to find a proper balance and an optimum output.

This course is based on theoretical and interactive presentations, a self-evaluation with a questionnaire and the drawing up of a personal portfolio of action.

  • Theoretical aspects of stress: usefulness, origins and mechanics of stress
  • Positive and negative aspects of stress
  • Forms and causes of stress
  • Analysis of personal situations
  • Methods of managing stress
  • Presentation and practice of two methods (cognitive and somatic)
  • Personal action plan

The program is for those interested in how to better manage their stress, optimizing the beneficial aspects of useful stress and minimizing its detrimental aspects.

 Learning outcomes 

At the end of this seminar, participants will:

  • Have made an analysis of their current stress levels and patterns in their lives
  • Understand the most important aspects of stress: its physiology, the different forms, its benefits and negative effects
  • Be able to effectively use various proven techniques to better handle stressful situations
